Electronic devices are being discarded at an increasing rate as technology continues to improve. Electronics contain valuable precious metals, and by recycling those metals, fewer natural resources will need to be extracted to create new electronic devices. As a result, energy is saved, pollution is reduced, and there are fewer greenhouse gas emissions released into the atmosphere.
